Frequently asked questions
What is the Obasan Deluxe Dunlop Latex Mattress made of, and how does that feel in daily use?
It combines a 4" customizable base with a 3-zone Dunlop latex core, a 2" soft top, and a 2.5" topper, all inside an organic cotton cover with wool. The latex layers provide targeted support and pressure relief, while the wool and organic materials help with temperature regulation.
Who would benefit most from this mattress and who might not be ideal for?
It’s well-suited for adults seeking customizable firmness and targeted support, including couples who want different sides. Those who prefer very soft or very firm surfaces or want minimal customization may find other options better fit.
How does this mattress regulate temperature and stay comfortable?
The organic cotton cover is quilted with wool, and the breathable latex layers promote airflow to help manage heat and moisture for a cooler sleep surface.
What makes this latex mattress different from other latex beds?
It uses individually wrapped Dunlop latex layers with a 3-zone core, a separate 2" soft top, and a 2.5" topper, plus the option to customize firmness on each side and to fit queen or king sizes for couples.
What should a first-time buyer know about choosing a side’s firmness?
You can customize each side with the base layer firmness and the 3-zone core to match different preferences, allowing tailored comfort without changing the overall design.
What sizes and customization options are available for this mattress?
Available in standard sizes with the option to customize by side in queen and king sizes, so partners can select different firmness on each side.
